Change is often the natural outcome of deep inner work. As a psychotherapist, I support others in their journeys of healing, growth, and transformation — and over the past several months, I’ve been deeply immersed in my own.
This fall, I attended the EUROTAS Transpersonal Psychology Conference in Oaxaca, Mexico — an experience that profoundly impacted me both personally and professionally. Immersed in a global community of healers, psychologists, and spiritual teachers, I was invited to explore themes of identity, belonging, and the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Through that process, I found myself reconnecting with parts of me that had long been silenced — the intuitive, creative, and deeply feminine aspects that guide much of my therapeutic work today.

Out of this experience came a powerful sense of renewal — a symbolic rebirth that led me to adopt a new name: Lola Thomson. This name reflects alignment with who I am becoming, and honours the profound healing I’ve experienced through this chapter of growth and self-discovery.
While my name has changed, my work — and my heart for this work — remain the same. My practice continues to be a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space for your journey toward self-awareness and healing. You may still see the name Lindsey appear in older communications, but moving forward, all documentation and correspondence will reflect Lola Thomson. At this time I am not legally changing my name, so I will appear as Lindsey "Lola" Thomson with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
If you’re curious about this transition, I’m always open to sharing more during session — especially as it relates to themes of transformation, identity, and the evolving nature of the self.
Thank you for your continued trust and openness as I walk this path of growth alongside you.
Are you standing at the edge of change, feeling both ready and afraid to take the next step? I’d be honoured to walk beside you as you navigate this transition.
